There were a couple of minor glitches; the hot food was a bit late although I can't remember discussing the timing so it was probably something I should have set up better and the DJ played some tunes that The Little Worker hadn't requested. Apart from the fact that there was quite a lot of music I didn't like ['70s pop] it all went down well. I thought The Canberra Club did a great job - Tracee the Function manager was excellent. There seemed to be plenty of food - we took two 1.5L plastic containers of left-overs home and enjoyed these for a late lunch today. The salt & pepper squid was particularly good.
The highlight of the night was the arrival of the band...
Congratulations to son Chris, my nephew Brendan and Chris' mates Justin and Travis who made a convincing KISS.
The Little Worker was suitably surprised. And the crowd went wild!
Flushed with success and emboldened with the effects of a couple of beers Chris and Travis then decided to try a KISS Karaoke session at PJ O'Reillly's later in the evening.

They are thinking of turning professional.
