My dog Midge is not well.
Over 12 in human years around 100 in doggy time she's been failing for the last couple of years but still the happy dog she's always been. A Kelpie-Border Collie she's now been bleeding from her gum for a few days. So she's off to the vet in an hour or so and I've given her half an Acepromazine tablet to sedate her as she gets fear-aggressive and hates the vet.
We've been told to brace for a possible tumour.
As an old dog I doubt there is much intervention the vet would or could do.
I dread not having Midge around
