Daylight saving... oh dear

Death must be having a break...

Have had no more deaths of anyone related to me in anyway - other than those to whom I am related by being part of the same species - quite a relief.
Instead have had a couple of very pleasant days, celebrating life and family:

Yesterday daughter's boyfriend's [DB] 21st birthday celebrations - initial plan was to go lawn bowling followed by a barbecue but the rain that started Friday was still going yesterday so 10-pin bowling instead.
My brain and body were psyched for lawn bowls so my efforts on the alley were garbage but it was very enjoyable all the same.
After the bowling we all went over to DB's family home for rather pleasant food, drink and conversations. The celebrations extended to late evening.

All that socialising coupled with the change over to daylight saving [clocks forward] deprived us of an hour's sleep so I was somewhat bleary-eyed when I got up today. The Little Worker was making up for lost sleep so I'd completely finished my breakfast before she emerged.

The weather wasn't as wet or cold as yesterday so I managed a couple of loads of washing before The Little Worker's youngest brother came over with his wife and baby for a visit. We had lunch and played pass the baby for a while who co-operated exceptionally well and was only starting to get a bit grumpy when they left around about three hours later.

More days like this, please
