This is better

After yesterday's shock and sadness of the news of Dean's passing today was the opposite.
Some fellow workers organised a morning tea as a fundraiser for
Sri Lankans following the recent terrorist atrocities. While that reason alone was highly commendable what made this little get-together more joyful for me was the return of some former work mates and friends who had returned especially for the occasion.
Two of them were Sri Lankans and one Pakistani. All of them are really lovely blokes and I've always been fond of them and have known them for more than 20 years.
Mali retired nearly eight years ago, which was a surprise. He's not 74 but looked in good health.
Palan left two years ago and looked relaxed and well. While Muhammad, a ball of fundraising excellence par without equal was in his usual Master of Ceremonies.
Great to see them all.
True to form, TGA Staff generosity raised over $2000. Amazing but not unusual
