Midge the Dog

We had to say an achingly sad farewell to our beloved Midge last Sunday.

Old age had left her hardly able to stand.
Walking was difficult. and the risks of damaging falls rapidly increasing.
We therefore made the terrible decision to call in Marc our vet of over 20 years for a final home visit.
Almost a week later and the memories are still vivid and the pain of the loss still so hard to bear.

To paraphrase Bilbo Baggins:

Thirteen and a half years is far too short a time to have spent with such a wonderful friend
